Financial Manager job vacancy in Stellenbosch.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • EasyFile submissions (IRP5’s + EMP201’s)
  • Cashflow management, daily payments, maintenance of bank accounts
  • Property and farming accounting
  • Budgeting, bookkeeping, cashflow forecasts, management reports, analytical reports
  • Process large volumes of transactions whilst keeping to deadlines
  • Remain focused under pressure and solve problems in effective ways
  • Communication with shareholders, SARS, bank, auditors, suppliers, creditors, debtors, tenants, municipality etc.
  • Audit preparation and facilitation, able to interpret and review annual financial statements
  • Interest calculations and rental schedules

Requirements:

  • Accounting Qualification
  • Xero proficient (knowledge of Pastel is a bonus)
  • Accounting to TB level – including journals, bank processing, suppliers, debtors, invoicing etc. – whole bookkeeping complement of about 15 companies
  • Simplepay proficient – knowledge of basic HR processes, payslips – whole salary complement for about 30 employees
  • Excellent knowledge of SARS processes on e-filing – VAT + PAYE (submissions, queries + verifications) (EMP201’s + VAT201’s) + diesel rebates
  • Being a Tax Practitioner at SARS is preferable
