Job summary

A well-established FMCG company is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the finance function across multiple brands. Responsibilities include financial reporting, cash flow management, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will have a finance degree and 3–5 years of finance management experience, preferably in FMCG or distribution. Strong systems experience, particularly with SYSPRO, is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a finance management or senior accounting role.
  • Proven track record in FMCG, manufacturing, or distribution environments.
  • Experience with stock control – essential.

Responsibilities

  • Lead month-end financial reporting and present accurate financial results to management.
  • Manage cash flow forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis.
  • Oversee trade finance, creditor/debtor control, and reconciliation processes.
  • Ensure full statutory and tax compliance.
  • Manage inventory, costing, and stock control across multiple warehouses.
  • Supervise ERP system integration and improvements.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and board reporting.
  • Partner with directors on financial planning and business growth.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.

Based in Johannesburg North | Hybrid Role

A well-established FMCG and distribution group is seeking an experienced and hands-on Finance Manager to take full ownership of the finance function across multiple entities and brands. I am looking for someone who can lead a team with strong people management.

  • Lead month-end financial reporting and present accurate financial results to management.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Proven track record in FMCG, manufacturing, or distribution environments.
  • Strong systems experience (SYSPRO preferred).
  • Experience with stock control – essential.
