Candidates should have a CA(SA) qualification, a minimum of 5 years of experience, and strong report writing skills. Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience applying International Financial Reporting Standards.
  • Experience in auditing government entities.
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements for public sector organizations preferred (e.g., GRAP, PFMA, MFMA).

Responsibilities

  • Oversee accounting processes within the group, ensuring compliance with IFRS.
  • Lead the budget process and guide managers / executives.
  • Prepare monthly management statements and other financial reports by the reporting deadline.
  • Complete company income tax returns for the entity and submit them on time.
  • Meet year-end reporting deadlines and collaborate effectively with external auditors.

  • Oversee accounting processes within the group, ensuring compliance with IFRS.
  • Lead the budget process and guide managers / executives.
  • Prepare monthly management statements and other financial reports by the reporting deadline.
  • Complete company income tax returns for the entity and submit them on time.
  • Meet year-end reporting deadlines and collaborate effectively with external auditors.
  • Offer sound financial advice to management and handle reasonable requests.

  • Advanced level of proficiency relating to the MS Office.
