Job description

As the Financial Manager within Shared Services, you will lead and oversee the Shared Services Finance division, ensuring the seamless delivery of financial operations across the business. You will be responsible for driving financial efficiency, standardisation, and compliance across the group, all while leading a team of professionals in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end financial processes within Shared Services, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Cashbook.
  • Lead the optimisation and automation of finance processes across multiple business units.
  • Ensure accurate and timely month‑end closing and reporting in line with IFRS and JSE listed company standards.
  • Oversee compliance, internal controls, and audit readiness across the Shared Services environment.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Group Finance, Commercial, Procurement, and IT to streamline operations and support business performance.
Job Experience and Skills Required
  • CA(SA)
  • Minimum of 5 years post-articles experience, with proven leadership in a Shared Services environment.
  • Experience in a listed company is essential.
  • In-depth understanding of the full accounting function, financial controls, and reporting standards (IFRS).
