A leading recruitment firm in Johannesburg is seeking a Finance Manager to lead month-end financial reporting, oversee cash flow and trade finance processes, and manage stock control across multiple warehouses. The ideal candidate will have a finance degree, 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, and strong leadership abilities. This position is essential for achieving operational excellence and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.

Qualifications

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead month-end financial reporting and present accurate financial results to management.
  • Manage cash flow forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis.
  • Oversee trade finance, creditor / debtor control, and reconciliation processes.
  • Ensure full statutory and tax compliance.
  • Manage inventory, costing, and stock control across multiple warehouses.
  • Supervise ERP system integration and improvements (SYSPRO preferred).
  • Prepare and review financial statements, management packs, and board reporting.
  • Partner with directors on financial planning, risk management, and business growth.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure operational excellence.
Experience & Qualifications
  • Finance degree — essential.
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a finance management or senior accounting role.
  • Proven track record in FMCG, manufacturing, or distribution environments.
  • Strong systems experience (SYSPRO preferred).
  • Experience with stock control — essential.
  • Hands-on, deadline-driven leader with excellent communication and attention to detail.
