Job description

This role is ideal for a professional with experience in manufacturing, production, mining, or a similar environment. This role requires a hands‑on financial leader with strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and the confidence to partner with the Managing Director and Group stakeholders.

Key Requirements

• Minimum BCom degree (CIMA / CA advantageous but not essential).
• Strong proficiency in Excel; Sage Evolution exposure beneficial.
• Proven experience in cash flow management, management reporting, and compliance.
• Ability to prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
• Leadership skills to guide a small but diverse finance team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.
• Manage cash flow, foreign exchange reporting, and bank relationships.
• Oversee payroll, VAT, tax submissions, and compliance reporting.
• Support board meetings with financial insights and reports.
• Monitor production profitability, costing models, and efficiency exercises.
• Manage internal controls, annual audits, and insurance policies.
• Maintain and optimise the Sage Evolution accounting system.
