FINANCIAL MANAGER (CIMA) - ZAR 1.2M - SOUTHERN SUBURBS, CAPE TOWN We're looking for a commercially astute Finance Manager ready to take the lead in a hands‑on, high‑exposure finance role. If you're a CIMA‑qualified professional with a passion for financial modelling and strategic analysis, this is your opportunity to make a real impact and take ownership of the end‑to‑end finance function, including budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling. This is a "meaty" role that offers direct exposure to investor reporting, treasury management and financial performance tracking – perfect for a commercially minded, analytically driven professional.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the full finance function – from monthly close to board‑level reporting
  • Own and refine financial models to support strategic decision‑making and investment analysis
  • Build and present budgets, forecasts and variance reports with clear business insights
  • Deliver accurate, timely investor and stakeholder reporting
  • Manage treasury to ensure sufficient liquidity for deals and operational requirements
  • Partner with the executive team on deal structuring, funding strategy and credit assessments
  • Supervise and mentor a small finance team
  • Oversee risk controls related to maturing loans, security releases and cash settlements
  • Liaise with agents to oversee portfolio performance
  • Support HR administration and recruitment coordination
Requirements
  • Registered ACMA, CGMA / CIMA qualified with 2‑4 years of relevant post‑qualification experience in a comparable role in financial services
  • Proficient in advanced Excel functions and tools
  • Well‑versed in financial modelling, analytical reviews and cash‑flow forecasting
  • Proven track record in budgeting, management reporting and performance tracking
  • Confident team leader with experience engaging senior stakeholders and decision‑makers
  • Known for integrity, adaptability and a proactive, solutions‑oriented approach
