A leading financial consultancy in South Africa is seeking a commercially minded Financial Executive to drive business performance through effective financial planning. Responsibilities include managing monthly financial reports, budgeting, and compliance. The company currently has a vacancy for a commercially minded Financial Executive to drive business performance and growth through effective financial and commercial planning.

Key responsibilities
  • Timeous and accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports
  • Product costing and international procurement (negotiation, contracting etc.)
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Cash flow planning
  • Monthly reconciliations, accruals, and journals
  • Income tax and VAT compliance
  • Reviewing and improving internal financial controls
  • Staff management and support to the finance, HR and IT Teams
  • Year-end audit preparation
  • Risk management
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualification (BAcc / BCom)
  • Relevant professional registration will be advantageous (CA / CIMA / SAIPA)
  • At least 10 years’ experience in a finance or accounting role with minimum 5 years in a senior financial leadership role
  • Strong commercial background and experience
  • Sound negotiation skills
