Experience

• At least 5 years' experience in a manufacturing / technical environment
• Computer literate – MS Office, Excel, Syspro, Vena
• 5+ years commodity risk hedging experience

Key Standards

• No major findings on the audit report
• Submit monthly / yearly financial information by the deadlines specified
• Achieve a 90% favourable response from other departments in terms of providing financial information

Key Deliveries and Outcomes

• Plan, direct, manage and develop all aspects relating to financial planning, control and reporting within the company to ensure the long‑term financial viability of these investments in terms of group financial goals
• Maintain financial control over all company assets and liabilities in accordance with legal requirements, group policy and generally accepted accounting practice (GAAP / IFRS)
• Ensure continuous improvement in the finance function and ensure a consistent approach to all financial issues within the group to support other departments in financial issues on the Germiston site
