Qualifications & Experience
  • CA(SA) or equivalent professional qualification
  • 8+ years financial management experience, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership role
  • Proven experience in strategic planning, financial reporting and ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Business Central)
  • Strong understanding of IFRS, tax, compliance and audit processes
  • Experience in Pharmaceutical, Biotech or other regulated industries will be advantageous
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
  • Lead all financial planning, reporting and analysis to support the companys strategic objectives
  • Partner with the CEO and Board to guide business growth, capital allocation and investment decisions
  • Provide clear financial insight and recommendations for operational and strategic initiative
Financial Management
  • Oversee all accounting operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and financial reporting
  • Ensure full compliance with IFRS, Tax and Corporate Governance requirements
  • Maintain a strong internal control environment and ensure audit readiness
ERP & Systems Development
  • Lead the implementation and optimisation of the companys ERP system (Microsoft Business Central)
  • Ensure real-time financial visibility and efficient data management across departments
Governance & Compliance
  • Manage financial risk, ensuring compliance with regulatory and statutory standards
  • Liaise with Auditors, Regulatory Bodies and Financial Institutions to maintain transparency and good governance
Board & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Prepare and present board-level reports, forecasts and strategic recommendations
  • Build strong relationships with Banks, Investors, Auditors and other key stakeholders
