Location : Nairobi, Kenya

The Finance Controller will oversee the full finance function, providing strategic financial leadership and analytical insight to enable sound business decisions.

Reporting directly to the Country Head (Kenya) and the Group CFO, the successful incumbent will play a critical role in driving operational efficiency, ensuring compliance, and supporting business expansion.

Key Responsibilities

Develop financial strategies, including risk minimisation and opportunity forecasting.

Oversee high-level financial reporting, analysis, and management of information systems (MIS).

Lead budget consolidation and manage cash flow and treasury operations, including banking relationships.

Ensure robust internal controls and compliance with statutory and financial regulations.

Drive cost efficiency and continuous process improvement across the business.

Manage debt collection, tax submissions, and the finalisation of financial statements.

Provide investment insights and support major commercial decisions.

Partner with senior stakeholders to achieve strategic business goals.

Job Experience and Skills Required

Chartered Accountant (India) qualification required.

56 years post‑qualification experience.

Strong background in banking and treasury operations, with experience in working with leading banks in Kenya.

Experience within the trading and distribution industries is highly preferred; manufacturing experience will also be considered.

Exposure to SAP is an advantage.
