Position Summary

The Controller will oversee all financial activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the agency\'s growth and operational efficiency. This role requires a deep understanding of the unique financial needs of a marketing and technology agency, including project-based accounting and revenue recognition. High-end English proficiency is essential for this role, as it involves communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members.

Responsibilities

1. Financial Reporting:

   Prepare and publish timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure accuracy and integrity in all financial reporting. Provide detailed analysis and commentary on financial results.

2. Accounting Operations:

   Manage all aspects of the accounting functions, including Billing, Accounts Receivable, Expense Processing, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, and Revenue Recognition. Oversee the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, and report variances.

3. Project Accounting:

   Oversee project-based accounting to ensure accurate tracking of project costs, revenues, and profitability. Work closely with project managers to provide financial insights and support for client engagements.

4. Internal Controls:

   Maintain and iterate / improve robust internal controls to safeguard company assets. Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.

5. Tax Compliance:

   Manage and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. Coordinate and oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns in conjunction with 3rd party.

6. Financial Analysis and Strategy:

   Provide strategic financial insights to senior management to support business decisions. Conduct financial analysis and modeling for potential investments, pricing strategies, and other strategic initiatives. Ensure continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.

7. System Management:

   Oversee the maintenance and continuous improvement of financial systems and accounting process. Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data across all systems.

Qualifications
