We are looking for a part-time Financial Controller, who can perform straightforward tasks within the Westrocon finance department. The Financial Controller will have to undertake all aspects of financial management which includes presenting reporting, identifying potential risk areas to be communicated to senior management and establish and maintain internal controls to support the financial infrastructure, and safeguard company assets.
The candidate will need to oversee accounting, financial reporting, analysis and preparation of the consolidated financial statements in terms of the IFRS, including schedules for tax compliance and ensure policies and procedures are in compliance with professional standards and legal regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities will also include Managing and mentoring finance team staff, including training, performance management, and supporting budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning activities.
