The ideal candidate will be responsible for using their analytical mindset to analyze and interpret financial data, then relating it to potential business trends and issues. This candidate will feel comfortable using insights they have discovered to communicate important themes and discoveries to company leadership.

Responsibilities

• Liaison with the External Bookkeeper and auditors to optimise financial performance and plan for the future
• Analyse Financial Statements and data
• Financial modelling and forecasting
• Review Management Reports for accuracy
• Support budgeting and financial planning
• Calculate and authorise Wealth Planners and Private Client’s monthly commission structures and payments
• Review and release claims relevant to retirement and Insured benefits
• Working hours from 08:30 - 16:30 (Monday - Friday)

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Commerce (B. Com) degree or equivalent
• 3 years' financial analysis and modeling experience
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word
• Experience in Accountability is an advantage
• Familiarity with Everest software is beneficial
• SARS Easy File and e-filing
