Job summary

Xcede Group in Cape Town, South Africa, is seeking a full-time Financial Analyst to deliver accurate data and analytics for the company and its subsidiary during a period of high growth.

You will produce monthly operational reporting, assist forecasting, and develop sophisticated financial models to support strategic decisions at the executive level.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a similar analyst role.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with analytical tools.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to build complex reports.
• Proficient with spreadsheets, databases and financial software.
• Excellent reporting and analytical capabilities; English fluency for executives.
• Degree in Finance, Statistics, Economics or related field.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly operational reporting.
• Assist with monthly forecasting.
• Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated financial reports for decisions.
• Maintain and update financial models with high attention to detail.
• Handle ad-hoc analytical projects for CEO, CFO, Finance and Executives.
• Liaise with sales to build ad-hoc customer reports.

Your profile:

• 3 years minimum experience in a similar analyst role
• Thorough understanding of analytical tools and methods
• Advanced Excel skills
• Proficient in spreadsheets, databases and financial software applications
• Outstanding reporting and analytical skills
• Excellent English language skills (engaging with executives)
• A degree in Finance, Statistics, Economics or related field

Your responsibilities:
