Job summary

DK Consulting in Pretoria is seeking an experienced Broker Consultant to market long-term and short-term insurance products as well as investment products, while developing relationships with a panel of brokers.

You will be responsible for maintaining broker networks, reviewing new business, issuing quotations, and providing technical training and ongoing product support to Financial Advisors. Own transport and a valid driver's license are required for this role.

• 3 years broker consulting experience
• Insurance qualifications (NQF5 Financial planning or Wealth Management)
• RE exam
• Own transport

Responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Developing and maintaining broker relationships
2. Review New business pipeline, follow-up and tracking
3. Issuing of quotations
4. Technical training of and ongoing product support to Financial Advisors
5. Dealing with queries and providing information on a range of sales and service issues
6. Liaising with internal departments on processing issues
7. Building relationships with internal departments to ensure superior service is offered to clients
8. Keeping up-to-date with competitor product and service offering and industry developments
9. Participating in proactive sales and marketing initiatives

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Minimum: 3 years Broker Consulting experience with a proven track record
