Job summary

A reputable recruitment firm is seeking an Accountant to handle financial reporting and client portfolios. Candidates should have a BCom degree, be SAIPA/SAICA registered, and possess strong skills in Sage Evolution and Caseware. This role also requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to manage and train junior staff. A valid driver's license is essential. Competitive salary from R500,000 to R600,000 annually.

Accountant ( SAIPA / SAICA (AGA) / BAP(SA) registered

Location: Boksburg

Salary: R500 000 - R600 000

• Be computer literate, particularly MS Excel, Word, Caseware, Outlook and Sage Evolution

Duties & Responsibilities

You will be responsible for :

• Compilation of Annual Financial Statements on Caseware
• Compiling working papers
• Detailed knowledge of Evolution (capturing, bank recons, VAT, stock)
• Monthly processing of a portfolio of clients
• Compiling monthly management accounts
• VAT Recons and submission of VAT returns
• Submission of IT14's and IT12's
• Calculation and submission of IRP6’s
• Managing staff to ensure deadlines are being met
• Detailed knowledge of SARS e-fling a must
• Dealing with client’s general company and accounting queries (phone and email correspondence

Desired Experience & Qualification

• BCom Degree with completed articles
• SAIPA / SAICA (AGA) / BAP(SA) registered
• Candidates with solid Caseware and Sage Evolution experience will get preference.
