A leading rental company is seeking a financial accountant based in Mozambique, fluent in Portuguese. The role involves maintaining financial records, preparing branch management accounts, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws. Ideal candidates will possess a Diploma/BCom in Accounting and have 4-5 years of experience in a financial accounting role. Strong skills in Microsoft Dynamics AX and general accounting principles are essential.

Qualifications

• 4 to 5 years' experience in a Financial Accounting Role.
• Knowledge of Mozambican laws and regulations is required.
• Computer literacy in Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Maintain financial records by accurately recording the financial position.
• Prepare and monitor the annual budget for the branch.
• Perform bank reconciliations and capture bank statements.
• Prepare Monthly Branch Management Accounts.
• Ensure compliance to standard operation guidelines.
