Qualifications

• Completed articles at a registered auditing firm or minimum 2/3 years relevant accounting experience.
• Strong Excel skills and general computer literacy.
• Solid understanding of cost accounting and standard cost principles.

Responsibilities

• Process daily financial transactions (AP AR GL entries).
• Execute vendor and internal payments accurately and on time.
• Monitor and reconcile bank transactions and balances.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and assist with liquidity planning.
• Manage ledgers and reconcile payment deductions.

Requirements:

• Relevant Financial Degree (e.g. BCom Accounting or equivalent)
• Completed articles at a registered auditing firm or minimum 2 / 3 years relevant accounting experience
• Strong Excel skills and general computer literacy
• Solid understanding of cost accounting and standard cost principles (essential)
• Experience in international trading and forex handling (beneficial)

Key Responsibilities:

• Process daily financial transactions (AP AR GL entries)
• Execute vendor and internal payments accurately and on time
• Monitor and reconcile bank transactions and balances
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and assist with liquidity planningCapture and review cost elements and adjustments
• Prepare and review weekly payments and remittance reports
• Manage ledgers and reconcile payment deductions
• Report on balance sheet items and control accounts
• Onboard new clients vendors and producers
• Compile various financial reports
• Perform other relevant accounting functions as needed
