POSITION INFO :

ð¹ Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Handle SARS submissions, including VAT, PAYE, EMP201 / 501, and related statutory requirements.
• Perform general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and month-end processes.
• Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasts, and cash flow monitoring.
• Reconcile supplier accounts, bank accounts, and project costings.
• Process journals, accruals, and adjustments accurately.
• Support audit preparation and liaise with auditors when required.
• Ensure proper document control and adherence to internal financial procedures.
• Collaborate with operational and project teams to resolve financial queries.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records for easy retrieval.

• 3–5 years’ experience in an accounting role, preferably within construction or a project-based environment.
• Strong knowledge of SARS submissions (VAT, PAYE, EMP returns), reconciliations, payroll, and management reporting.
• Proficiency in Pastel and Sage accounting systems (essential).

• Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
