Job summary

Job Description

• Full accounting function within an accounting firm
• Preparation of monthly reconciliations including age analysis
• Perform export debtors' function for manufacturing division and follow up on long outstanding receivables to ensure no bad debt occurs
• Reconciliation of invoices
• Provisioning of monthly cost accruals through a reconciliation of accounts and supplier statements at month end
• Remain up to date with IFRS requirements
• Make necessary provisions in the accounts in line with IFRS
• Ensure necessary internal control systems are in place for processes in the area of responsibility
