Qualifications

• 5+ years in Accounting required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end financial statements and balances.
• Ensure SARS compliance for VAT, PAYE, and Income Tax.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and team.
• Prepare for external audits, drafting financial statements.
• Oversee cashflow reporting and banking transactions.
• Conduct employee management including training and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Month‑End & Reporting: Financial statements, journals, balance sheet reconciliations, sales & inventory analysis
• SARS Compliance: VAT, PAYE, Income Tax
• Banking & Cashflow: FNB & SAGE payments, monthly forecasts, cashflow reporting
• Accounts Payable / Receivable: oversee processes, ageing reports, team management, query resolution
• Audits: prepare for external audits, financial statement drafting
• Employee Management: recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training & development
• Ad‑Hoc Duties: store performance reports, ROI analysis, budget support, POS & system implementation, retail audits
