Ensure compliance with IFRS, local legislation and Sandvik processes and regulations in the general accounting area.The candidate will provide support to the Financial Controller and Finance Manager by performing operational finance functions across all reporting and legal entities.Key Performance Areas : Is responsible for developing the ways of working in the general accounting areaReview and manage financial reports and accounting statements to ensure their accuracyPerforms general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accountsManage internal and external auditsPrepares, records, analyzes and reports accounting transactions and ensures the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principlesPerform monthly, quarterly and annual OneStream Group reporting activitiesProvides financial control support to Business control on forecasting activities and OneStream reportingProviding timely financial information to support decision-making processesPrepares separate and consolidated financial statements for the groupPrepare technical opinions on complex accounting mattersSupport the tax department on financial information and tax submissionsMaintain the fixed asset register and all related systems and policies thereof.Your Profile : Bachelor's degree in accounting with CTACA(SA) (Essential)1-3 Years post article experienceKnowledge of accounting software such as OneStream, SAP and / AuroraAccuracy and attention to detailExperience working in a matrix environment (Advantageous)English proficiencyProfessional, energetic, dynamic and positive team player with great business acumenGreat organisational and time management skillsExperience in a multinational or cross-cultural work environmentAbility to own a problem and take active steps to resolve itAbility to work well within a high-pressure environmentMust be able to liaise on all levels in the organisationWilling to work extended hours during financial reporting cycles as well as during ad hoc reporting periods.How to applyPlease apply online through Workday (ESS) or access the Sandvik website Applications close : 28 November
