>We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Accountant to join our internal finance team in Midrand on a 12-month onsite contract.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Manage general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and journal postings.
• Monitor and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for strategic decisions.

Desired Experience & Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional certifications (CA(SA), CIMA, or ACCA) preferred but not mandatory.
• 3 years experience as a Finance Accountant or similar accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting standards, and accounting principles.
• Experience with account reconciliations, reporting, and budget management.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Sage, or similar ERP).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
