Introduction

An established manufacturing company in Cape Town(Blackheath) is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their finance team.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys taking ownership and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Perform monthly and annual financial close activities and reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with IFRS and regulatory standards.
• Review supplier reconciliations and payments before release.
• Handle forex payments and assist with cash flow management.
• Prepare and submit statutory returns (VAT, EMP, etc.).
• Assist with audits, reporting, and implementation of financial policies and procedures

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Newly Qualified CA(SA) or
• AGA(SA) with 3 years relevant post-article experience
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivots, VLOOKUPs, XLOOKUPs).
