Job summary

A charitable organization focused on providing access to Bibles is seeking a financial manager to oversee finance management and administration. The ideal candidate should hold a BCom Accounting degree, have at least five years of leadership experience, and be proficient in MS Office and accounting systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential. Applications close on 21 November 2025.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary Degree: BCom Accounting or equivalent.
  • Completed Articles with an Audit / Accounting company.
  • Relevant experience in Management and Leadership.
  • At least five years’ experience in a leadership role within Accounting.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office and relevant Accounting systems.
  • Practical knowledge of computer networks, systems and infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of relevant financial legislation and regulations.

The Bible Society of South Africa NPC (BSSA) has been translating, publishing and distributing Bibles

in South Africa since 1820. The Bible Society of South Africa’s mission is to provide

affordable Bibles for everyone, in their own language and in suitable formats,

so that all may experience the life-giving message of the Word.

The abovementioned full-time career opportunity is currently available at the BSSA. The ideal candidate is a dynamic, detail-oriented and strong problem solver who can work in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for the effective management and administration of BSSA’s finances by ensuring that the BSSA adheres to all relevant Financial legislations and regulations.

Requirements
