Job summary

KingsleyIrons Recruitment Services CC sourcing an experienced accounting professional for a multinational travel and tourism client in Johannesburg. You will support financial reporting, budgeting, reconciliations, treasury, taxation and controls, reporting to the Finance Manager and engaging with stakeholders across the business.

The role requires 5 years in finance, IFRS 16 knowledge, advanced Excel, and SA tax understanding, with SAIPA/SAICA articles advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or related field.
• Completed SAIPA or SAICA Articles is advantageous.
• Studies towards CIMA, ACCA, SAIPA or similar would be advantageous.
• 5 years' experience in a finance or accounting environment.
• Experience in a multinational environment is advantageous but not essential.
• Experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting and general accounting.
• Knowledge of IFRS 16.
• Strong understanding of South African financial and tax requirements.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• SAP experience advantageous.
• Experience in travel, tourism, hospitality or service environment advantageous.
