Job summary

An agricultural group in Tzaneen is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee finance functions, including accounts payable and payroll. The ideal candidate has a BCom degree in Accounting, completed SAIPA or SAICA Articles, and at least 3 years' management experience. Strong knowledge of Pastel Evolution is required, and experience in the agricultural industry is a significant advantage.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a management role (Non-Negotiable).
• Experience within the Farming or Agricultural industry is a huge advantage but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the full finance function, including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll.
• Prepare and review monthly management accounts, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Manage cash flow, budgeting, and financial planning processes.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, audits, and tax regulations.
• Develop and implement internal financial policies, procedures, and controls.
• Support operational management with financial insights and performance analysis.
• Liaise with external auditors, banks, and other stakeholders.
• Review and authorise payments, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure high performance.
• Continuously identify and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
