Finance Manager – Scaling Global Edtech Business

Salary dependent on experience level up to Rk per year. Hybrid working – Cape Town (several days office based). We’re looking for a hands‑on, detail‑driven Finance Manager to take ownership of day‑to‑day financial operations, compliance, and process improvement within a fast‑growing, mission‑led global organisation.

You’ll manage core finance functions including reporting, accounts receivable/payable, payroll oversight, and automation initiatives, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across multiple markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly and annual financial closings, reconciliations, and audit preparation.
• Manage invoicing, payments, and collections to maintain healthy cash flow.
• Supervise payroll and ensure compliance with local accounting regulations.
• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate financial processes.

What You Bring

• 5–8 years’ experience in finance, accounting, or audit, ideally within a tech or service‑driven business.
• Strong command of operational finance (A/P, A/R, GL) and advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills.
• Proficiency with accounting tools (Xero or similar).
