This position provides both strategic oversight and active operational management of all finance-related functions, including budgeting, reporting, reconciliations, and compliance.

This is a hands-on role, not purely supervisory - ideal for someone who thrives in an environment where they will both manage and execute day-to-day finance operations. The Finance Manager will work closely with the Group CEO and the Finance Manager (South Africa) to align group-wide financial processes, reporting, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee preparation of annual budgets, cash-flow management, and consolidated management accounts.
  • Manage daily financial operations, including creditors, debtors, and reconciliations.
  • Supervise audits and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Process and review supplier invoices, EFTs, and payment approvals.
  • Handle inter-company transactions and reconciliations.
  • Support payroll coordination and HR-related financial administration.
  • Mentor and guide the Financial Administrator supporting this entity.
  • Enhance internal controls, systems, and reporting procedures.
  • Provide financial analysis, forecasting, and insights to leadership.
  • Support implementation of automation and digital financial tools.
Requirements
  • Matric and BCom or equivalent qualification (preferred).
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in financial management and bookkeeping to balance‑sheet level.
  • Proven experience managing finances for multi‑entity or group structures.
  • Hands‑on approach - must be comfortable both managing and executing tasks.
  • Proficiency in Pastel Evolution/Partner and Pastel Payroll.
  • Strong computer literacy (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Benefits
  • Competitive, market‑related salary
  • Opportunity to work within a dynamic and growing group environment
  • Exposure to multi-entity, international financial operations
  • Supportive and collaborative leadership team
