We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager in Pietermaritzburg with 7+ years experience will be required to take ownership and oversee end to end finance operations, ensuring the business runs smoothly and efficiently.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Logistics and fleet management
  • Stores and stock management
  • IT management
  • Import and export
  • Procedure and controls systems
  • Ad-hoc projects and requests
  • Financial accounting and reporting, preparation of annual financial statements and monthly management accounts.
  • Monitor financial details to ensure that legal requirements are met.
  • Supervise employees who do financial reporting and budgeting.
  • Review financial reports and seek ways to reduce costs.
  • Financial planning, budgeting and forecasting
  • BBBEE management and audit preparation
  • Tax and statutory compliance
  • Risk management
  • Financial and investment planning
REQUIREMENTS
  • Grade 12 (Mathematics & Accounting an added advantage)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting (essential)
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in Financial Management, Business or Operations Management with exposure to a similar role with the same responsibilities (essential)
  • Manage a team of 10+ staff
  • Strong analytical, communication verbal and written, and leadership skills
  • Proficient with financial software, advanced Excel
