Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded Finance Manager to lead the financial operations, reporting, and strategy of the company.

This is a remote, full‑time position operating on U.S. Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours.

The Finance Manager will oversee all accounting functions, maintain strong internal controls, and provide management with actionable insights to support strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all financial reporting, month‑end closing, and management accounts.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
  • Supervise and develop the accounting team (bookkeeper, AP / AR clerks).
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls and process improvements.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP / IFRS and all applicable regulations.
  • Oversee multi‑entity and/or international financial reporting if applicable.
  • Work collaboratively with leadership to shape and execute financial strategy.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Honours or CA(SA) advantageous).
  • Minimum 7‑10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including team management.
  • Deep knowledge of accounting systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, or similar).
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
  • High attention to accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to lead remotely and manage deliverables across EST time zone.
