Finance Manager Position

Are you an experienced Finance Manager ready to take on a dynamic role in a thriving FMCG company? My client is seeking a talented individual to join their team and lead the finance department to new heights. If you're driven, results-oriented, and possess strong financial acumen, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpretation of Financial Results: Analyze and interpret the company's financial performance, providing insightful recommendations for improvement to management.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and address bottlenecks within the company to enhance overall efficiency and throughput.
  • Working Capital Management: Oversee working capital facilities with a focus on creditors and inventory management.
  • Financial Compliance: Ensure adherence to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and maintain accuracy and completeness of trial balance month on month.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements, monthly management accounts, and Board of Directors packs.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage the accounts payable team, setting and reviewing annual KPIs for reporting staff.
  • Asset Management: Maintain fixed and tax asset registers, conducting annual impairment tests and reconciliations.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis and reviews, identifying cost reduction opportunities and preparing ad hoc reports as required.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with banks, suppliers, team members, and external auditors.
