This Finance Manager will take charge of daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy across reporting, compliance, and controls.

This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys building strong financial systems, leading a small but high‑performing team, and partnering with leadership to shape financial strategies that drive growth and stability.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Oversee accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger functions.
  • Prepare accurate monthly financial reports, forecasts, and management packs.
  • Lead month‑end and year‑end close processes, ensuring deadlines and compliance are met.
  • Manage annual budgeting, variance analysis, and performance tracking.
  • Liaise with auditors, oversee tax and statutory submissions, and ensure adherence to IFRS and local laws.
  • Strengthen internal controls, liquidity management, and risk oversight.
  • Drive process improvements and implement automation initiatives for efficiency.
  • Mentor and support a team of finance professionals, fostering growth and accountability.
Desired Experience & Qualification
  • Bachelor's or Honours degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • CA(SA) (preferred) or CIMA.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a finance management or senior accounting role, ideally within FMCG or manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax laws, and financial systems (ERP experience essential).
