- Qualification (SA), with 3 to 5 years post-articles.
- Strong SAP experience (essential).
- Minimum 2 years in Finance Business Partnering / FP&A.
- Skilled in financial modelling, business evaluation, and Excel / ERP systems.
- FMCG / Retail exposure advantageous.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Key Responsibilities :
Report to the Financial Manager :
- Strategic & Commercial Insight : Provide forward-looking financial analysis to support decision-making and influence business direction. Translate financial data into clear, actionable insights for senior leaders.
- Budgeting & Forecasting : Lead the preparation, consolidation, and alignment of budgets and rolling forecasts, ensuring financial plans are realistic, robust, and aligned to business objectives.
- Performance Monitoring : Deliver monthly reporting packs, dashboards, and KPI analysis, highlighting risks, opportunities, and corrective actions to keep performance on track.
- Business Cases & Investments : Prepare and review business cases for projects and investments, providing IRR, ROI, payback, and profitability analysis to guide decisions.
- Governance & Compliance : Ensure financial governance, internal controls, and compliance with IFRS and statutory requirements. Support internal and external audits, resolving findings proactively.
- Cash Flow & Balance Sheet Management : Oversee receivables, working capital, and key reconciliations to maintain strong financial discipline.
- Projects & Process Improvement – Lead or support initiatives to enhance processes, controls, automation, and reporting efficiency across the finance function.
- Stakeholder Collaboration : Act as a trusted advisor to senior managers, building strong relationships and ensuring finance has a voice at the table.
- Team Leadership & Development : Guide, coach, and develop junior team members, contributing to succession planning and talent retention.
