Somerset West, My client, a specialist engineering concern, is seeking Finance and Office Administrator who will support the CFO and CEO with general accounting functions, financial administration, generation of reports, creditor payments and maintaining regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately capture financial transactions and maintain financial records
  • Monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow; liaise with CFO and CEO to align income and expenses
  • Generate client invoices and manage relationships to encourage timely payments
  • Understand payment terms and manage creditor payments
  • Maintain online banking, set up payments, and ensure CFO or CEO authorisation
  • Review bank statements to capture data, monitor charges, and reconcile accounts
  • Prepare for annual audits and liaise with CFO and auditors for financial year-end
  • Maintain organized financial records to comply with SARS regulations and company policy
  • Manage company secretarial records and statutory compliance
  • Manage logistic documents as required for tax and banking regulations
  • Support day-to-day office operations
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience in using financial tools (Xero, Pastel, SimplePay, etc.)
  • Driver’s license
Preferred Skills
  • A relevant degree in Commerce or Accounting
  • Experience with SARS eFiling and tax laws
