A growing group of businesses in South Africa is seeking a Finance & Operations Manager to oversee financial and operational performance. The role combines financial control and management across multiple branches, requiring 5+ years in finance and operations. This is a hybrid role with opportunities for growth into a Group Financial Controller position.

You'll work directly with the founder to drive occupancy, streamline operations, and ensure strong financial discipline across the group.

We're looking for a hands‑on Finance & Operations Manager to join our growing group of businesses, including Office & Co. serviced offices, property development, design, and events divisions. This is a hybrid role combining financial control, operations oversight, and general management — ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
BCom / Diploma in Accounting or Financial Management.
5+ years' experience in finance and operations (property, hospitality, or service industries advantageous).
Strong knowledge of accounting systems (Xero, Sage or QuickBooks) and Excel.
Proven ability to manage cash flow, budgets, and supplier control.
Operationally minded — able to work across multiple branches and teams.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Self‑driven, reliable, and commercially astute.
Detail‑oriented but big‑picture thinker. Calm under pressure, resourceful, and solutions‑focused. Strong leadership presence and capable of managing up and down.
This role will evolve into Group Financial Controller / General Manager as new branches open. A Finance / Procurement Assistant will be appointed under this role as operations expand.
