Responsibilities

• Oversee financial operations including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, reporting.

Our client is looking for a strategic Finance & Accounting Manager – CPA to lead their financial operations and drive long-term business growth. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting while transforming complex data into actionable business strategies. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership skills, a proven background in finance and accounting, and the ability to partner effectively with executive leadership.

Schedule

• M-F: 9AM - 6PM PST with 1hr unpaid break

Responsibilities

• Oversee the company’s overall financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial planning.
• Develop and manage annual budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Analyze financial performance, identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide recommendations to senior management.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
• Establish and maintain strong financial controls, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
• Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, ensuring high performance and accountability.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, banks, and other financial institutions as needed.
• Provide financial modeling and analysis to support business decisions, investments, and strategic initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reduce costs, and increase operational efficiency.
• Support executive leadership with financial insights for business planning and decision-making.
• Oversee risk management and ensure appropriate financial safeguards are in place.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license is required.
• Minimum 4-5 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with experience in a leadership or management role.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.
• Experience with accounting software, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, integrity, and confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with U.S.-based companies or international organizations.
• Experience in a fast-paced or growing organization.
• Strong knowledge of financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
• Experience in process improvement, automation, and financial systems implementation.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with financial modeling.
• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
