Placements24 in Kimberley is seeking a meticulous and eager Apprentice to join our Finance and Accounting team. You will receive comprehensive training in accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping, supporting daily tasks and learning accounting software.

Ideal candidates have Grade 12 with strong Maths, good numerical skills, and a passion for finance. This paid apprenticeship offers mentorship from qualified accountants and opportunities to pursue professional qualifications

Qualifications

• Grade 12 certificate with a strong pass in Mathematics.
• Interest in finance, accounting, and business administration.
• Good numerical and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and pursue relevant accounting qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with data entry for financial transactions, including invoices and expenses.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Help prepare financial reports and statements.
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial records.
• Learn and utilize accounting software for various financial tasks.
• Assist with audits and compliance checks as needed.
