Overview

Summary: Servicing client devices onsite. Be able to perform logical troubleshooting on a wide range of client devices. Perform IT related troubleshooting. Perform software support including firmware, installation of devices. Perform hardware related troubleshooting on copiers and printers. Perform PM services to reduce client failure. Ensure that calls get done within SLA once received. Perform quality work including firmware updates on devices. Ensure that preventative maintenance is done as per schedule. Manage boot stock of toners and spares including submitting job sheets. Ensure accuracy of boot stock. Boot stock done monthly. Accurately operating of the mobile app (Tech Connect).

Qualifications

Experience
  • Two-year experience in the office automation industry
  • Previous field service experience
  • High volume device experience is an advantage
  • Networking and understanding software will form part of the duties
  • Able to use manuals to troubleshoot as the position will often be in areas where support reception is poor
  • Must have experience on printers and copiers
  • Good communication skills both with clients and with management
  • Skills relevant to a job include education or experience & specialized training
  • Time management; ability to work independently
