Job Overview

We are looking for a Service Engineer in our Field Service Offshore department. You will travel worldwide to provide service, troubleshooting, maintenance, commissioning of new systems and technical support for customers in the offshore segment.

Responsibilities
  • Technical support and assistance worldwide to internal and external customers
  • Commissioning of new systems
  • Service, maintenance, and modifications on Kongsberg delivered systems and equipment in the offshore segment
  • Technical support on existing systems in operation
  • Assisting in annual sea trials
  • Inhouse technical support towards internal and external customers
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or other relevant technical education
  • Experience from relevant activities is an advantage
  • Willingness to travel on short notice
  • Meet the health requirements that apply for offshore work
  • Meet the requirements for applying for work visa worldwide
  • Fluent written and spoken English and Norwegian language
  • Act on own initiative, make things happen and accept responsibility for the results
