Introduction

The Field Sales Representative will be responsible for driving product uptake, supporting contract implementation, and maintaining strong relationships within the healthcare sector in the region.

About The Company

A locally developed and produced wound care product that offers an advanced, non-medicated solution for managing both acute and chronic wounds. The product is distributed to healthcare providers, pharmacies, and medical supply partners nationwide.

About the Role

This role involves direct engagement with hospital management, clinical staff, and supply chain departments to promote and support the use of an advanced wound‑care dressing product. You will serve as a key link between the company and healthcare providers, ensuring the successful introduction and sustained use of the product portfolio.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with hospital management, nursing staff, and supply chain teams.
  • Promote and demonstrate the company's wound‑care products to healthcare professionals and procurement departments.
  • Conduct clinical presentations and product training for doctors, nurses, and pharmacy staff.
  • Identify and develop business opportunities within both public and private healthcare environments.
  • Achieve sales targets and support implementation of the national supply contract at provincial and hospital level.
  • Gather and report on market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitor activity.
  • Manage and document sales activities, customer visits, and progress reports.
  • Travel regularly within Gauteng and surrounding provinces (Free State, North West, Limpopo).
Desired Experience & Qualification

Candidate Profile

  • Matric (Grade 12); tertiary qualification advantageous.

Package & Remuneration
  • Basic Cost to Company R15 – R25 + Commission – excluding business travel & cellular cost (negotiable, based on skills, experience and in relation to current package).
