Job summary

A fast-growing Fintech in South Africa is looking for a Sales Representative to boost its customer base in Gqeberha. In this role, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets, prospecting new customers, conducting post-sale follow-ups, and signing up merchants. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of outbound sales experience and a valid driver's license. Qualifications

  • Completed Matric/Grade 12.
  • Minimum 3 year’s Field/Outbound Sales experience.
  • Previous exposure working within merchant services or banking sector is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Intermediate knowledge using Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sales Software & CRM.
  • FICA training advantageous.
  • Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for growing the customer base and hitting sales targets.
  • Prospect and canvass for new customers in targeted areas.
  • Post-sale calls and follow ups, logging all activity.
  • Ensure all company Gross Profit and sales targets are achieved.
  • Provide proactive feedback for improvements to sales procedures.
  • Sign-up merchants and assist with FICA documentation.
  • Monitor competition and share insights.
  • Take ownership for resolving customer complaints.
