A leading pharmaceutical company in Pretoria is seeking a Field Sales and Strategic Account Sales Representative to drive sales and profitability in the retail pharmacy sector. The ideal candidate must possess a relevant tertiary qualification and at least 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical field, particularly in pharmacy OTC or key accounts. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are crucial. This role offers the opportunity to engage with key customers and implement effective sales strategies.

Job Purpose : To achieve budget sales and profitability results through the effective roll out of strategies for Retail / IDP Pharmacies and Pharmacy groups, in line with the Bayer Consumer strategy. Develop and implement plans to assist customers to grow and achieve sales targets. Ensure maximum brand exposure through promotion and business activities as per the marketing plan. Analyzing sales and customer activity data to monitor progress against objectives and communicate information to Sales Manager and Brand team; implement corrective action where necessary. Manage Co Op spend budgets with key customers to ensure maximum return on investment. Ensure continued and improved customer relationships. Planning of sales and detailing calls through Repwise. Measure and achieve call coverage and frequency. Timeous feedback reports submitted to the HCP Detail and Training Manager. Attend trade displays and presentations which can involve after hours and weekends when required. Taking accountability for enhancement of own knowledge pertaining to the role through ongoing research and reading. Implement Bayer LIFE principles across the business. Location : Johannesburg South / West + NW.
