Job summary

Herotel Telecoms (Pty) Ltd in Bredasdorp is seeking a self-motivated Field Sales Agent to identify and convert prospects into broadband subscribers. You will own the full sales cycle from first contact to activation, working in the field to build relationships and meet your own targets.

The role offers a commission-driven earning potential, requires a Grade 12, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work independently with strong communication skills and CRM proficiency.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 completed or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transport for field activity.
• Proven track record in outbound sales (1–2 years).
• Target-driven with ability to work independently.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to build rapport quickly.
• Fluency in English and local languages; CRM proficiency is beneficial.

Are you a self starter with a hunger to hunt down your own leads and close deals? Join our Commercial team as a Field Sales Agent in Bredasdorp, where you'll proactively identify, approach and convert prospective customers into subscribers of our services.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives on ownership and independence, loves being out in the field building relationships, and is motivated by commission earnings tied directly to their own performance.

What you'll do:

• Identify and sell to new and existing customers
• Upsell and cross sell where opportunities exist
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to activation
• Develop, own and continuously refine your own personal sales strategy
• Identify new opportunities such as housing estates, complexes and business parks, and build a targeted approach for each
• Maintain a consistently healthy, well qualified pipeline of leads at every stage of the funnel
• Gather and report market intelligence on competitor activity, pricing and customer sentiment
• Represent Herotel professionally and reflect our values in the assigned area
• Submit accurate, timely weekly activity reports covering prospects contacted, pipeline status, sales closed and planned activity
• Keep CRM records complete and current on a daily basis
• Follow up diligently with warm and unconverted leads within agreed timeframes
• Ensure a smooth, quality handover to installation and after sales teams

What you'll need:

• Grade 12
• A valid driver's license and reliable transport for field activity
• A proven track record in outbound sales (minimum one to two years)
• A target driven mindset and the ability to work independently
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly
• Excellent sales and consultation skills
• Fluency in English and applicable local languages
• Proficiency in MS Office and a willingness to learn CRM systems
• High personal integrity
• Experience selling broadband fibre, LTE or wireless internet products, and existing knowledge of the local coverage area, will count in your favour
