Placements24 seeks a dedicated Field Officer to drive community development programs in the Mahikeng region. You will be the link between initiatives and communities, engaging residents to understand needs and facilitate program implementation through outreach, data collection, and support for projects aimed at improving livelihoods and well-being.

The role requires independence in rural/semi-urban settings, strong communication skills, and a deep commitment to social causes and community

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Matric certificate; a tertiary qualification in Social Sciences or related field is an advantage.
• Previous experience in community development, field work or related roles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse populations.
• Ability to work independently in rural or semi-urban settings and manage own schedule.
• Familiarity with the Mahikeng area and its communities is beneficial.
• Strong commitment to social causes and the charity sector.
