Jelocorp in Johannesburg is seeking a skilled technician to perform inspections and repairs on heavy machinery. The role involves diagnostic work on various mechanical issues, as well as providing on-site support for maintenance and repairs.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in construction machinery and a commitment to safety and quality in their work. This position requires an ability to communicate technical information effectively with clients and internal teams.

Responsabilidades

• Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on construction machinery and heavy equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, diesel engine, and transmission-related faults.
• Provide on-site field service support, including emergency breakdown assistance and scheduled maintenance.
• Assist with equipment installation, commissioning, testing, and after-sales technical support.
• Complete routine maintenance and prepare accurate service reports.
• Identify required spare parts and assist with parts ordering and replacement recommendations.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, service documentation, wiring diagrams, and parts catalogues.
• Communicate technical findings and repair recommendations to customers, management, and internal teams.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures and industry standards.
• Provide customers with basic equipment operation guidance and maintenance recommendations where required.
• Maintain tools, diagnostic equipment, and service records in good working order.
