Job summary

Pragma is seeking a skilled maintenance professional to oversee maintenance and construction work at Retail and Commercial fuel stations in Gauteng. You will scope projects, review contractor quotes, and conduct routine site inspections to ensure quality and safety.

The role requires a tertiary qualification in a relevant field, at least 2 years in a similar position, and a valid driver’s license with own transport.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Building.
• Minimum 2 years in a similar role; 1 year in Oil & Gas with focus on retail fuel stations is advantageous.
• Good communication skills and reliable transportation are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance and construction work on Retail and Commercial fuel stations; scope work, review contractor quotes and invoices, and perform routine site inspections.
• Build relationships with site personnel and client managers; log maintenance calls and oversee execution of tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance and construction work on Retail and Commercial fuel stations. - Scope work and review contractor quotes and invoices - Perform routine site inspections on SLA based cycle. - Perform HSE oversight inspections on in progress work. - Inspect assets as per inspection tasks during every site inspection. - Log maintenance calls for faults identified during every site inspection. - Over-inspect completed maintenance work during every site inspection. - Build relationships with site personnel and the respective managers at all the client sites.

Qualifications and Experience

• A tertiary qualification in a relevant field, e.g., National Diploma (Mechanical / Electrical/Civil/Building). - A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position. - A minimum of 1 years’ experience in the Oil and Gas industry with a focus on retail fuel stations is advantageous. - A valid driver's licence. - Own transport. - Have good communication skills.
