A financial institution located in Pretoria is seeking a Document Scanning Clerk. The successful candidate will handle confidential documents, perform scanning and uploading onto a central database, and ensure a clean work environment according to company standards. Attention to detail and one year of experience in a working environment are essential for this role.
A destruction and retention process has been developed for branches to file contracts in order to easily find and destruct files that comply with the requirement.
The loan contracts to be retained will be packed in accordance with the retention process and then transferred to two central locations for scanning, upload onto a central database and subsequent destruction.
Responsible for handling confidential documents, received from the resulting from the FIC retention process.
Performs the scanning and uploading of confidential documents onto a central cloud based database.
Ensures a clean, safe work environment in compliance with company standards.
The Document Scanning Clerk should check each loan contract scanned to ensure that the contracts have all been scanned correctly and each individual document type (that forms part of the loan contract) has been ticked correctly and uploaded onto the central database by using the Document Scanning Application The Document Scanning Clerk will upload the scanned loan contracts onto the central database by using the Document Scanning Application The Document Scanning Clerk will return scanned and uploaded loan contracts to its original box, as received from the branches.
