About the Opportunity

As a Business Development Manager, you will acquire new corporate travel business in accordance with targets set.

You will have the opportunity to shape strategies and processes to win new business by developing a strong regional presence among the local business.

You will be the face of FCM and represent the company in meetings with key decision makers in businesses to create new sales opportunities and foster a successful, solid relationship.

Key Duties And Responsibilities
  • Acquire new business: Identify and qualify sales leads, perform cold calls, and convert opportunities into successful partnerships to meet and exceed monthly targets.
  • Client portfolio management: Foster multi-level client relationships, analyse spend reports, and conduct regular business reviews to uncover additional opportunities.
  • Sales process compliance: Engage in weekly sales meetings, provide pipeline updates, and adhere to internal best practices and KPIs.
Education & Experience
  • Matric (minimum requirement).
  • A relevant tertiary qualification is advantageous (e.g., Business or Travel).
  • 6–8 years in sales, business, or customer relationship roles.
  • Proven B2B experience with C-level engagement and solution selling expertise.
  • A strong track record in meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Exposure to industries like law, mining, or similar markets is a plus.
